The 16th of September, 1958, Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard situations. Her mother worked as teacher at a local school and was an unremarkable actor, while her father sold automobiles. Jennifer, as the second daughter of four, often went to theater shows with her mother. She was delighted. Jennifer's mother and father divorced at the age of five. Jennifer was a part of her childhood in British Columbia after her mom moved there along with her four siblings. Jennifer did not attend school although as a kid she was very artistic. As a child, Jennifer was often being the target of bullies in schools across Canada. In high school her passion for theater began to wane. To combat this, her mom helped to take part as an extra in a variety of productions. She encouraged her kids to pursue a passion for performing arts. Immediately after that she started taking action.
